MED17 Launch Control, 2-Step, and No Lift to Shift Tuning

Unlock the ultimate performance tuning with the MED17 Launch Control, 2-Step, and No Lift to Shift assembler. This modification not only enhances your vehicle’s launch performance but also adds aggressive flame and gunshot effects during launch and between upshifts.

PCMFlash OBD Installation (7-minute installation process)

1. Obtain the Virtual Read Binary File:

   • Use PCMFlash to obtain the virtual read binary file from your ECU.

2. Patch the Binary:

   • Use LAUNCH17 to patch the binary file for the desired tuning.

3. Write the Modified File:

   • Write the patched binary file through OBD with PCMFlash.

No disassembly required for the ECU – the process is quick and easy.

Alternative Tools for Flashing

This tuning file can also be flashed using any tool that supports boot/bench service mode for reading and writing, including:

• MPPS

• Bflash

• Autotuner

• Ktag

• Trasdata

• Kess

File Locking and Editing

• The generated file is locked to the software version and VIN number.

• You can re-edit or regenerate the file without additional token costs as long as you’re using the same VIN and software version.

• A DAMOS file will be generated, which can be imported into WINOLS for offline modification.

DSG Notes:

• The launch control feature works with DSG gearboxes.

• Flame/Bang effect will work in neutral.

• To use launch control for a real launch, you’ll need a mod and a reflash on the DSG TCU. We can create and sell a DSG-compatible file tailored to your launch parameters for 300 CAD.
